My ST in Mid-process
« on: 1 Nov 2008, 05:06 pm »
Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share with you a couple of pics of my babies being born.

This picture is after the last sealer session. This is before top coat which happens today.

This picture is a side view of the beautiful cherry wood at the same stage.

I will post more pics as the building process continues.

See you soon.

Wow, those look nice.  Is the cherry stained?

I have some SongTowers somewhere in production, I believe, but I didn't get any birth photos.

Those are the ugliest speakers I have ever seen.  What is Jim up to these days?  Holy cow!  Time to buy Bose! :guns:

Yes, they are, thanks.  But there are more surprises with these guys. You will see what I mean soon.

I like the main upper portion of these speakers a lot, but those plinths are just hideous!

Just kidding, as I'm sure the finished product will be absolutely beautiful.  Congrats!

Surprises, I hate surprises.  :D

(And that is one of the reasons that I don't stay at Holiday Inn Express.  I can't even count the reasons, but that is a different forum...)

MK, I won't tell anyone else, I promise. Besides, if it is something really great, maybe Jim can do it to mine, too, before he finishes them.

BTW, any affiliation to the MKII watch company? (also another different forum.)

Dittos for my V3 order. I hope to have them in time to say "Merry Christmas to me!"

They will also have a slight variation from the standard model.

I really like that look. They really have the WOW factor that people who don't appreciate the excellence of the sound can appreciate. If I ever upgrade-or buy a second set of HT3's-I'm going with Guitar burst too.
