Akg K1000 cans are rare, especially a fully modded - from the drivers to the termination ends -  Equinox Akg K1000 like this one.
I am sure it is more worth then the price I am suggesting (I am not looking for profit)!

I have ordered a pair of ACI Emerald speakers already, so I need some funds to cover the investment. I also need funds for Van den Hul speaker cables.

My parents are on a holiday and they took my camera with them, so I don't have any photos yet. I will post some photos at +/- 24 September.

The serial number of the 1st Akg K1000 is: 01386.
The other Akg K1000 serial is: 01524
I have the original box, package, and manual.
I can also include the original speaker cables (tail end and hardwire).
I am not the first owner, I bought the phone from eBay about 2 years ago (+/- 700 euro).
+/- 6 months ago, Akg with serial 01386 has been sent to Akg for the left driver repair (repair costs: +/- 300 euro). I had asked Akg to check the right driver also.
The Akg's are in excellent condition, and they are in good hands (smoke-free home, ...).

+ 10ft Equinox Hardwired K1000 cable: Stefan AudioArt Home
Np: $320 USD

+ 5 ft Tail End with silver-solded ends: Stefan AudioArt Home
Np: $309,00 USD

I can also include the original Paypal payment to Stefan AudioArt, which states that I am the first owner of the cables.
Equinox hardwiring has been done by Richard Land, Land Audio Services, email: landaudio@comcast.net.
Here's a review of a hardwired Akg 1k: 6moons audio reviews: Stefan AudioArt hard-wired AKG K-1000

I prefer payments in euro and shipping inside Europe. This doesn't mean I am not selling them outside Europe (it's about priority)!
It looks expensive, but do consider the costs involved for Equinox hardwiring, Equinox tail end, repair, and shipping charges.
European bank transfers (bic and iban codes) are highly recommended, because these don't involve any fees.
If you prefer PP, please add 3.4% Paypal fees.

* Shipping charge (Akg K1000 with package, manual and cables weights +/- 2,2 kg):
shipping inside Belgium    : 6 euro (TnT Post with Track&Trace)
shipping to Netherlands
and Luxemburg              : 8 euro (TnT Post with Track&Trace)
shipping inside Europe
(London, France, Spain, Finland, Sweden...)   :
23 euro (Tnt Post with Track&Trace)
shipping outside Europe   : 53 euro (with "De Post", our national mail company)

A week ago I have bought a Grado Hp-2 from a Head-Fi'er who lives in Netherlands.
Shipping of the expensive headphone was done by "Tnt Post". They were delivered safely and very fast.
I believe this is the best European shipment method I can recommend.

* Why replace the entire stock cable of the AKG K1000 headphones?

Because the10-ft stock tail section introduces considerable high frequency distortion due the materials incorporated and structural design. The 6-ft hardwired section does much less damage to the performance of the AKG K1000 headphones and a neutral balance can be achieved using the Stefan AudioArt's Tail End K1000 headphone cable. The new Hardwired K1000 headphone cable offers a more refined natural balance of sound than our tail end replacement version. The Hardwired K1000 cable incorporates Stefan AudioArt's more extensive proprietary wire treatment process with a internal wire configuration designed to bring the AKG K1000 headphone to their full sonic potential. The cable is very light and flexible and compliments the AKG K1000 headphones.

* Why replace the 10-ft stock section?

Because the stock section introduces considerable high frequency distortion due the due the materials incorporated and structural design. When the strands in the wire are not isolated from each other, the signal jumps from strand to strand, causing distortion which increases with length. In addition, the tight dielectric which covers the cable also adds to this distortion when the high frequencies come in contact. Total gauge and gauge variation are also factors. The high gauge and the selected gauge configuration used in the stock cable just does not transmit a balanced spectrum of sound from an amplifier. The formula of strands used in the wire are not capable of capturing the true low frequencies, midrange and soundstage.
The 6-ft section that is hard wired to the AKG K1000 is subject to the same distortion, but by eliminating the10-ft stock section and replacing it with Stefan AudioArt's carefully selected gauge configured cable, the two cables are now tuned to achieve a neutral balance with a significant increase in soundstage.

Sonically, the K1000 cable offers:

Significant increase in soundstage.

Added richness and extended lower frequencies.

Dramatically warmer mid-range.

Naturally balanced high frequencies.
