I must say, these look great!  I currently have the D-200's, and like some of the additions with the 500's, like offering both XLR and RCA connections.  I'm sure they'll sell quite well, and I'll be in the market for a pair at some point.

In addition to what you mention, it also has our XDC-2 circuit built-in, a much larger transformer (922VA) with several individual windings for the various circuits. The power supply circuit has twice the capacitance of D-200 along with several more regulated stages. The amplifier circuit is also improved and uses a bridged output. This is not only our highest-power amplifier, but also the best sounding.
