I plan to list my K 1000s on Audiogon Monday, September 15th. This post is to give AudioCircle members a heads up about the upcoming listing.
I bought these new in factory-sealed box after AKG ended production. They were among the last 500 units ever made by AKG.
They have Moon's top-of-the-line Silver Dragon Version 2 hardwire cable, with Cardas silver spades. The cable is 15' long, installed at Moon Audio by Drew himself.

Given the relative newness, excellent condition, and Silver Dragon hardwire, these phones are premium. They have been well taken care of in a smoke and pet free environment. No children either. I live in the Southeast (USA).
My new house has a dedicated 2ch room, so they don't get much use -- so it's time they are "adopted" by another music lover.
