SOLD: Magnepan MG 1.6QRs

I thought to post here first before the auction sites.

Anyone in the North Jersey area interested in a good pair of Magnepan MG 1.6QRs?
I'll let them go for $900.00 (obo), pick-up or drop-off (within reasonable distance) only.

Let me know if you want to see photos and I'll take some tonight.
They are in beautiful sounding condition. Cosmetically the "socks" have some pulls.
I checked and Magnepan sells replacement socks for $41/ea + shipping.

Due to the condition of the socks I'm willing to sell them for $800.
I figure that $100 could be used on replacement socks+shipping.

This is a great price for the 1.6s. I feel bad for letting them go but I've been eyeing a turntable & really enjoying my other system which is a low powered SET/open baffle set-up. I would love to see the Maggies go to a home where they're enjoyed and used often.

The sock color is grey and the trims are cherry hardwood.
