Just purchased a Primo Grill Oval XL. They are a ceramic grill. I highly recommend them

Yesterday I saw several mentions of a "Big Green Egg" in a post in the Culinary Circle.
What about the Primo steered you toward it? (I do see on their website they say theirs is the only cermaic grill made in USA).

For me it was the size. The oval gives me a ton more capacity

Another benefit I should mention is that on the normal round ceramic cookers you have a single grate. On the oval it is so wide you have 2. That makes it easier to add wood during long smokes and for indirect cooking
