Stands included for an extra $50 - These are great especially when sand-filled. I believe they are old paradigm stands, extremely sturdy and include spikes.
Low price reflects some small cosmetic defects. There is a small chip on the Cherry veneer of the side of one speaker, it is not visible from the front. There are marks on the bottom from stands. Also, there has always been a rattle in one speaker box. I was worried about it for a long time, but it never made any difference in the sound - I don't think it is the crossover because I have used these extensively and never noticed any problems. They sound 100% and both sound exactly the same.
They use a $150 Eton 7" woofer and modified Vifa tweeter in a Transmission Line enclosure. The sound is really very good. Selling because I am saving for a big set of Altec Horns!
Local pickup is preferred, they are located in Ellicott City MD. I do have boxes to ship, but they are heavy and it will cost a decent bit. Buyer pays shipping.
