Fool's Gold

My wife and I watched "Fool's Gold" last night, a DVD we rented from BB.  The movie stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.  If you are looking for an entertaining movie that does not require you think, check this one out.  It was just a fun movie and I would rate it at 7 out of 10 stars.

I totally agree this one is a keeper. My wife and I enjoyed it very much, very entertaining. I might even go 8/10 stars. Check it out new on DVD.

A stinker for me.  A redo of Into the Blue from a few years ago.  Fool's Gold makes Into the Blue look like an award winning film. Strap this one to an anchor, I couldn't find much to enjoy beyond basic entertainment. I don't see how this made it as a theatrical release (beyond its star actors), should have been straight to DVD. 5 out of 10 stars at the most from me.

I was definitely just lukewarm to it....it had a few funny scenes, and kept my attention for the most part, but not sure I can recommend it.
