Seas 5" aluminum cone woofers and a Seas 1" aluminum dome. Really nice sound for the $.

I'm kinda curious about the Ebonization ....did the dye obscure the grain pattern?
And wouldn't another wood specie have worked just as well.  The pictures don't
tell us enough.

Was there a strong motivating factor for these drivers...like the buyer had them
already...or he really liked them above all else....  You've used so many drivers
in the past, form Daytons to Accutons, I'm just curious about the motivation.

The veneer is flat cut and the grain is visible but the resolution of my Sony digital camera is limited.  :(
Other woods could be used with good results as well.

The driver selection was determined by a number of things - budget, allowable cabinet width, output capability, and bass extension.
