AUDIO KARMA'S AK FEST & MICHIGAN FRITZSPEAKERS TOUR
« on: 10 May 2008, 01:24 pm »
I would like to thank everyone who came into room 308 that I shared with Madisound to see & hear my ScanSpeak Carbon 7 & Seas Excel monitors.  While I now live in La La land (Los Angeles, CA.), I'm originally from St. Clair Shores & have had a blast in the last week or so meeting many AC, AK & Audiogon members & visiting my family & friends.

If any outstanding Michigan AC or AK members (who are still standing after the show!) are interested, I'm sending my Carbon 7 loudspeakers on a tour to get some feedback on my designs.

I'm an audio junkie & have been building custom loudspeakers since 1973.  I buy, test & try out all the drivers that are available & have built my Carbon 7 model for about 12 years now.  While they work best with higher powered solid state amps @ 100+ watts, they sounded fine with the EL34 tubes @ 32 watts per channel Fountek Altitude 3500 Integrated tube amp that Madisound sells & with the OPPO DV-983H modded player that Doug Jesse of ASi Teknologies was kind enough to lend me for the show.

If anyone would like to listen to them, PM or give me a call to make arrangements to try them out on your system / sytems for a few days.  No obligation at all to buy, I would just like the local Michigan audio community to see & hear some of the models I've been  building since 1973.  I will be coming back often to visit my dad & sister from now on & would also like to meet other people to hear their systems.

Thanks & Happy listening...  Fritz Heiler

Having had Fritz as a guest in my home, I can say he is one of the most knowledgeable, nicest, most FUN guys in audio, that I have personally met. His speakers, understanding of The Dark Arts, and joinery are first rate. Fritz is one of the audio guys where, if you get into his product, you get Fritz in the bargain!

Highly recommended!

I've bought speakers from Fritz and he was a pleasure to deal with. He makes great stuff at very real world prices and fully stands behind everything he sells. He'll even do in home demos if you live in southern California. Too cool. I plan to hook up with Fritz again soon to check out his latest goodies. Good guy, good listening!
