CD Player info?

Jason mentioned this in another thread, so rather than take that thread OT I'll start a new one...

Any details set in stone for this unit? I've bugged Oppo to make a music-only universal player (which would allow you to navigate DVD-A discs via the front panel, no display needed), but to no avail...if NuForce were to do something like that, I'd be all over it! Only thing missing would be a digital input (like the Cambridge units)...  :wink:

We have been asked about CDP nearly every week :).  Yes, we are actively working on one. Don't expect anything for 6 months.  :(

I'm also interested in a reasonably priced high value music only universal player that will play DVD-A, SACD, HDCD, and CD. Looking forward to whatever you come up with.

Jason, do you plan to include HDCD decoding in your CD Player or DAC? Unfortunately not many CD Players have it on board, which means we don't get everything out of these discs that is possibly there.
