These self-powered monitors are what I would describe as Full-Ass. They're solidly made, look good, sound excellent, have incredible low end, have numerous input options and means to tweak the EQ response. Only problem is that I have a broken mixer and if that wasn't broken I'd have neighbors. Either way they aren't getting the use they deserve in my house. I'm attaching a web image of them, but these are the same thing I have. My pair does have a minor cosmetic scuff on the top one speaker. The veneer got scraped a bit. It's about the size of a dime. I will post a photo of this. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with them at all. They are a few years old, have been used very very delicately
and will ship in the original boxes. They might even still smell good, but don't hold me to that!
The sound is clean, tight and professional sounding. I remember listening to the first song on them, I just hooked one speaker up to check if they worked. I immediately knew they meant business! They really sold me on the concept of self-powered monitors. Just plug in your RCA, phone or XLR from a preamp and you're ready to go. It has gain trims on the back, an auto-on mode, overload protection and switches for Acoustic Space, Low Freq and High Freq.

I will also toss in my Auralex "MoPad" foam blocks that these sit on. This will give you acoustic isolation and also allow you to angle them if you wish.
