Howdee-hey!

I ordered a sig 30.2 last night before the price went up and am now waiting for the production of the 6.5" alnicos to begin.

Anyway, I'm trying to decide exactly how to set up this 2nd system. My question concerns the difference between the use of long ic's vs long speaker wire. Which is the preferable way to go a distance of around 30'?

See if you can make it 30.2 feet. I dunno, it's just a feeling.

I agree with BrianM, go with the speaker wire for the long length and spades are generally better.

Regarding use of terminations on your anti cables, I would go with spades on the speaker end and banana's on the amplifier end.  I personally do it this way because it is easier to hook up the Omega DeepHemp to the main speaker using banana's.

Bare cables are always best for the sound!
But both spades and Banana are great for convenience

I use Stereovox that have both banana and spades

I have Anticable too (bare). Louis, do you see any advantage to use silver solder to tin the ends? Like less oxidation???
