Hi there. I have a fantastic DAC -- an Empirical Audio modded Electrocompaniet 24/192, and I want to improve the signal I'm streaming from my Squeezebox 3. So, I need to find an upgraded power supply for it, to begin with. If I can find a standard or modded ELPAC WM220-1, I can have Bolder Cable do the 'Enthusiast Digital mod' to my Squeezebox. Next best is a standard or modded Herbach (Jerome Industries) power supply, which only allows the 'Primary Digital Mod' -- since there is just the one voltage output from the PS.
The balanced input from my CD transport into the Electrocompaniet DAC has always sounded FAR better than the Squeebox -- I'm hoping to get closer to that sound...
