Has anyone heard of Air?

I picked up this disc yesterday when going to claim my new Norah Jones CD.  The group is "Air" and the album is "Talkie Walkie".  I have to say I think it is the most surprisingly original group of songs I have heard in a while.  I sat transfixed last night listening to the whole disc which I had not planned to do.

Anyone else familiar with this and what do you think?

I haven't listened to the new disc yet but some of their compositions for the Virgin Suicides soundtrack are pretty haunting.

Moon Safari is a spectacular album.  Talkie Walkie is good but pales in comparison.

Gave a listen to the new album at B&N the other day, and really liked a couple tracks, but wasn't too impressed with the album as a whole.  Not sure if its something that would grow on me or not.

Agree with the previous comments -- go pickup the Virgin Suicides soundtrack, Moon Safari, and 10,000Hz Legend.  Great stuff.

IMO moon safari is a must have in all but the most conservative listerners CD collection.
