I agree.  Mike used Leica M8 camera (I think) with B/W Tmax film.  :thumb:

Nice stuff. A film camera. Film FiLM!!!!! Did I say Film... Time and expense!

Though I could give a digital shoot the same feeling with a batch action in about 1 minute.
Mike

What speed film, looks high like 1600...

Those do look great!  Sometimes you just can't beat good old B&W film.

I wonder if I could get similar results on my 5D by using an ISO of 3200, raise the contrast and shoot in B&W?   Only one way to find out I guess...  :)

Thanks for all your compliments. The way the photos turned out was accidental. I was using a Leica M4 with no meters, so my metering was off, but luckily, the film Tri-X can be very forgiving. Therefore it has a grainy look. It is a good thing that nobody noticed I was taking pictures, so I was able to make some candid shots...especially the one with Mark. :)

Hey!

And that is the beauty of Leica M series rangefinder camera. With is compact size and near silent shutter its excellent for this type of photography. :D Very hard to beat.

Many of memorable candid photos were taken with these beautiful camera. Talking about this type of camera and this type of photography reminded me of those photos taken by Henri Cartier-Bresson and his Leica with mostly 50mm lens. :D

   Great job SunnyDay/Michael. :thumb:

Take care,
