So, I recently bought a new (used) two-channel HK 3480 to replace my 6.1-channel home theater unit... which I promptly posted for sale on Craigslist here in NYC. I got several nibbles this morning, and then traded emails with somebody who was very clearly interested and serious. We made an appointment for a quick demo, and this afternoon ...
SHE bought it. That's right. A woman...

Average, normal, attractive American woman maybe in her late 20s, early 30s.
I thought for a moment she was in the wrong apartment (of course, I am far too enlightened to have said, "You're a woman!?") Turns out she was just looking for something to connect her iPod to. Said she's in the market for some new (*used or affordable) speakers as well (*I wrote down Infinity Primus P-162 on a scrap of paper and handed it her). She handed over the cash (for my full asking price) and was on her way with a smile on her face... and I had one on mine. It was truly a pleasant surprise. Not looking to incite a huge gender debate here ... just passing along a story that struck me as worth sharing.
