SMART(?) PLAYLISTS
« on: 4 Apr 2008, 08:57 pm »
  This is the question; is it possible to create a Smart Playlist by Genre that contains two or more Genres?  The reason I ask is that I want to break down the Genre (Jazz) which contains most of my CD's for ease of access, but want to combine them on occasion for listening purposes.

                               Thank You

Not sure what you mean. You can create a playlist that includes either two genres buy using the + button
Or you could create a play list that includes another playlist (Playlist is "Your Playlist Name") + Genre is whatever and use match any instead of match both.

The smart playlists are pretty flexible.

I use them to create Classical, Jazz and 'other' playlists for primary starting places.

Yep it is possible,
MattyT nailed it just add an additional "rule" using the (+) to the right of the Text input box. Choose "Genre" for both rules. Or add additional filters(rules).
