I just finished my C2 circuit board.  I used TRT's Woldersolder on it.  There was some gel flux residue left on the board that I tried to clean off using 91% alcohol (I couldn't find 99% alcohol) by brushing it on the boards and using a blow dryer to dry it off.  It has taken a lot of residue off the board, but now there is a think film on the top of the board and I was wondering how to get it completely off the board, if possible.  In the manual, it says to soak it and brush it.  By soaking it, do you mean immerse it completely, components and all in an alcohol bath?  If so, that will not hurt the components?

Thanks,
Dan

I had the same problem. To get the board sparkling again I bought one of those cheap foil baking pans and filled it to right above the board. I soaked and brushed for just a few minutes then dried with a blower. A heat gun worked well too.
