The baddest vocal cats on the planet!

Wanna put a smile on your face?
Do you value, as I do, harmony and chord changes as the main ingredients that move you in music?
Here are a few suggestions from vocal group extraordinaire Take 6 on YouTube:

This one w/ Quincy Jones and Toots Thielemans will make you grin from ear to ear:

Nice, Steps.  I enjoy the LA Jazz Choir (a recording on Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab recorded and engineered by Keith Johnson if you could find a copy) and several from The New York Voices.  Saw a Dallas high school jazz choir on PBS doing some really neat singing but couldn't find any more about them.  What an instructor they've got.  They could record right now from what I heard.  Cheers.

Toots Theilemans plays a nice jazz guitar, too, in case you didn't know.

I actually jammed briefly with Toots on guitar several decades ago one time when he was in Brazil. It was in a night club in S Paulo and my memory of it all is a little foggy 'cause I had a few too many. :wine:

BTW the latest NYVoices( A Day Like This) is very good. But Take 6 is genius, absolutely astounding. Check their tour dates and do yourself a favor and make a point of seeing them live. I guarantee that you'll leave with a smile permanently plastered on your face.

 Enjoy!
What really kills me is that with so much crap floating around pure genius does not get the press it deserves. Then again Take 6 has nothing to worry about because they have always been booked solidly all over the world and always will as long as they can breathe. Keith Jarrett is another example.
