Very cool idea!

Thanks!

That's the way I look at it. Free high resolution music is never a bad thing. Unfortunately other sites are deleting my posts.

Added both to the shopping cart, clicked Checkout, clicked Purchase Now, "Error reported by server: undefined", tried a few more times with the same result and gave up.

Their website appears to only work properly under Internet Explorer.  Despite not having DRM on these items, it also wants to install a DRM ActiveX control.

I tried too with IE7 and couldn't get it to work either, but when I tried another computer running IE6 I got the downloads to work.  Had to turn off my virus software.

I does work with ie7. I did talk to MusicGiants this afternoon and they fixed an issue with the second download late this evening. I will see if I can get an MG representative to jump on this forum.

Having the same problems as everybody else above.  Don't want to roll back to the IE6 to see if that is going to work. Needs to work with other browsers like Mozilla Firefox.
 :(

Didn't try the first, but the second download is NOT working as of 8:50 MST.
It just hangs there.

I've tried to use the music giants website before, but it's just too annoying. If the music is free and without DRM, can't you just post it to some nice, simple website that works with Firefox and doesn't require annoying plugins?

As far as I know MG is working on compatibility with more than just windows and ie. A Mac friendly site is coming from them.

The music is free, but only from the original content distributor. So, I can't post it on my site to be downloaded. Plus MusicGiants would have nothing to gain by this. They have been very great to work with and very generous to provide free music, so I'm more than happy with the current configuration. I wish it worked for everyone now, but maybe in the near future it will.

We apologize for the broken download, however it is working properly as of Friday afternoon.  As some people have mentioned, our site is only compatible with IE 6/7.  If you added the 2nd download to your cart and never received it, go to the MusicGiants store, click on “downloads” on the left, login if prompted, and the failed download should begin.  As for the DRM update that is required, all it does is individualize your computer to allow Windows Media DRM to function.  Even though this update is not required for DRM Free content, it is required by the MusicGiants store due to the fact that DRM content is also sold.  If you have any other questions feel free to email me at support@musicgiants.com.

Thanks for trying to give this music away.  I have a MAC, and my bootcamped XP side got a big ole virus and IE7 just got me to porn sites  :thumb:  no not really  :thumb: more like
I am waiting on a diplomat to bring my family pack Leopard so I can bootcamp again to run IE7.  I will not be putting on the software from the   cheap digital camera that put the virus on my computer.
It is a shame that you only can be run on IE.  Yes, it has the majority on the internet, but probably not for HD music downloaders.
Just a thought   Business is all about location, in the internet...compatibility.    M$ is for the majority and a few tweakers, Mac is for the I want it cool, I am willing to pay, I will not f^ck with it crowd, Linux (I am not one) is the challenge me crowd, it is broke I will fix it.
