Most cone dynamic speakers (including our older models like the T2SE) will suffer by comparison in the mids and treble next to our ribbon speakers (like the LRC).  That's technical progress for you.

While we still have some 808 cabinets on hand, I certainly would not recommend them over, say, the LRC Jr ($549ea) which are in the same price range.
