When I started listening to music it was with classical music and well over a third of my collection remains classical. By chance I am across the Ramsey Lewis album "Time Flies" - http://www.amazon.com/Time-Flies-Ramsey-Lewis/dp/B0002A2VEQ/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1200801553&sr=1-30 and have "Brubeck Meets Bach" - http://www.amazon.com/Brubeck-Meets-Bach-Dave/dp/B000NA205A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1200801756&sr=1-1
Do you guys know of other artists who jazz up the classics?

The Jacques Loussier Trio might be of interest to you. Cheers .

Have you checked out "Swingle Singers" from the sixties. Ward Swingle led a vocal jazz group that had serious "chops" and he was also a fan of classical music. Match made in heaven, man.

I just listened to a sample of Claude Bolling's Suite for cello & jazz piano trio and just love it, its really nice.
Thanks for this recommendation.
