Looks like the least expensive Garmin unit that will call out street by name is Nuvi 350 at $249.95 shipped as Natureboy pointed out.
My question: Nuvi 360 is available at $275 shipped. The only difference is bluetooth capability. Is this feature worth the extra $25?
Woodsyi,
I passed on the Nuvi 360 as several users said the speech quality from cell phone calls was not the best, plus my bro has a bluetooth headset he prefers. I don't think you can go wrong with either Garmin or TomTom, personally I don't like the Magellan units.
A compass and map will work as previously noted.

I wouldn't try to use them while your driving though.

They are better for hiking, IMHO.

Good luck with your decision.
