This is the latest revision of the Headroom Total Bithead with upgraded passive components and a gain switch that earlier models don't have. This design came out in 1996.
This amp has been used for one cross country flight and is in mint condition. It has both a USB input and a 3.5mm analog input for use with an iPod, laptop audio out, etc. Or you can use with a USB connection to your computer. This unit gets it's power from the USB host device, or for highest quality sound, switch it over to battery power from the 4 internal AAA batteries. There are connections for two pairs of headphones -- as long as they are of roughly the same impedance and efficiency. Works well with low impedance (Etymotic ER4S) and high impedance (Sennheiser HD-650) phones and everything in between.
Price new is $149 and I'm asking $100 shipped in lower 48, with no paypal fee.
