I am seriously considering the purchase of a Benchmark DAC-1 with the I2S mods from Empirical Audio. Would I be better off paying extra for the headphone mods on the DAC-1 or keeping my Musical Fidelity X-CANv3 for use with the Benchmark?
I would appreciate hearing about any experience with the headphone mods.
