First off, this is an AMAZING tube amp. I never knew what my HD-650 and HD-600 were capable of doing until I plugged them into this amp.
The
one and only reason I am selling this is because I need to buy an amp for my upcoming speaker rig. I need to raise some funds. The Rudi amp is an absolute joy to own and I feel very fortunate to have owned it stateside. There are very few Rudi amps in the USA and I wish more people could hear what I heard through this amp with the Sennheiser, Grado and Audio Technica cans.
A few words about the sound of the amp: SMOOTH, VELVETY, DETAILED, SEDUCTIVE, EMOTIONAL and TRANSPARENT. It has Complete grip and control over the driver movement.

This amp is
IDENTICAL to the RP7 Balanced except for:
- does not have the RK50 Potentiometer (Uses the
Alps RK40)
- Does not have Balanced inputs. However the RP7 Balanced ONLY has single ended headphone outs. Hence it is not a
true balanced amp.
The current retail price of this amp at the current exchange rate is $2,048 and that is
WITHOUT the upgraded tubes which cost an additional $250 for a quad matched and cryogenically treated set.
