Previous generation, MkII, were accepted very warmly by audiophile community - see feedbacks below, however, this generation is head and shoulders better.
Among many improvements, poly dome tweeter was upgraded to advanced silk dome tweeter. Long throw midrange/bass 6.5" Kevlar cone with Butyl Rubber Surround was vastly improved as well. The new reinforced Pisces MkIII asymmetrical cabinet is shaped to render resonance inert. Spectron Audio, company which gave birth to the Infinity speakers and with current award winning amplifiers was consultant in crossover design. Special attention was given to vibration control - absolutely essential requirement in small size speakers design.
To match the hardware quality, the special attention is given to the cabinets. The whole ensemble is wrapped in stunning dark red wood with exotic orange and brown hues. This very expensive veneer is from the family of a ultra high premium-quality timber species internationally known as "Indian Rosewood"(Dalbergia latifolia). Hand rubbed and gorgeous, the finish is reminiscent of turn of the century woodworking.
