I will soon be listing my Van Alstine Ultra 550 power amp over on Audiogon. I thought I'd give a heads up here first. I am the original owner. This amp is in pristine cosmetic and functional condition. It looks and works like brand new. I will also supply the owner's manual. I have been very impressed with the power, precise bass control, linear frequency response, and transparency of this amp. I am tempted to keep it, but I have different speakers now that are more efficient and I want to try a fully tubed power amp. This may be a mistake, but I am willing to take the risk. I must sell the Ultra 550 to finance my new amp purchase, so hence the sale.
