Kenny Garrett, former sax player for Miles Davis has a new CD out. Great playing with a lot of Coltrane influence. Though not particuarly well recorded.  Nice to hear some real jazz instead of that "Smooth Jazz" crap that's really lame R&B.

I enjoy Kenny Garrett as well - had the opportunity to listen to him play in Philadelphia at Annenberg Hall.  I remember I couldn't get 'Ornithology' out of my head for weeks ;)
