We could discuss no end which cable, for how much, where from, etc, etc.
The point is that the power cables delivered with audio gear are typically rather shoddy. Unfortunately, this extends to not-so-cheap gear as well; while one might rationalize that with cheap gear there was no room for quality power chords, this cannot be said of more expensive stuff.
We all agree that a change, even if only with a larger cross section standard cable, will produce positive results, audible diufferences. If so, then we can agree that changing the power chord should be one's first tweak move ever. I must add that changing interconnects I do not view as a tweak, but as an attempt ro improve the circuit, since the signal not the power goes along those cables.
