Hey Everybody.

Recovered yet? Not us either.

But it sure was fun. I like the show being ever bigger myself. Still had that friendly, block party feeling, but with more people.

So this is just to let y'all know that we did manage to get our annual RMAF show report up onto the web, and it can be found by clicking on:

Enjoy!

Thanks again for the excellent photo coverage of the show.  As usual, I stopped by your room to spin a track (Lilit Pipoyan this year) and received gracious service as always.  I was also seated behind the two of you during Lars' demo of the Nordost Odin cables.  Unfortunately he accidentally swapped channels while swapping cables so the A/B experience was fumbled - he's one of my favorite show characters though, his enthusiasm is fun.

Mike,

Enjoyed the report and photos, thanks for the enormous amount of work you put in.  I only got to a few rooms Sunday morning, so reading your report helped fill in those big gaps.  I like the organization also, by floors - that gives me a feel of going through the show, room by room.

Thanks!

Duke

Thanks! and, well.... introduce yourself next time!

And maybe I should turn around in my seat more often to see just who is sitting behind me :-)

Yes, Lars is a character. It was so nice of him, I thought, to swap back and forth several times. We had heard the demonstration the evening before but had missed enough that we wanted to hear it again.

Take care,
Mike.

Thanks, JCarney. And each show I look forward to being DONE posting ... :-) But seriously, well, that was kind of serious, but anyway, it is great to be able to help people see what they might be missing, and help exhibitors get a little more publicity from all the hard work they put into setting up their rooms.

Otherwise, it is like they 'never existed, never existed' to quote 'Back to the Future' :-)

Thanks Duke,

Great to see you again at the show, even though it looked like I interrupted you and Alan hatching a plan to rule the world. Well, you guys got my vote! :-)

Just to let you know our initial coverage of RMAF 2007 is published. We started our with "The Speakers". Amps, Turntables (lots of analog!) disk players and much more in the process of publishing. It was great to meet several of you there!

Well at least I got pictures with your coverage, thank you for that!  Although not a word of thoughts to go with it, even though one of the guys from Audio Federation spent a fair amount of time in our room and even brought down a stack of cd's for us to play once.  All his comments while in the room were quite positive.

If it wasn't for the good peeps at StereoMojo, my work would have gone pretty much un-noticed in post-show coverage :(

Hi TurboFC3S,

We had a number of knowledgeable people who generously donated some of their time helping us staff our room this year at RMAF, and it must of been one of these people that played music in your room. I did not hear any reports, positive or negative, about your room, but it is not their job to report to me, it is their job to enjoy themselves when they can get out of the room.

It is MY job is to report on all rooms, and I am sorry about all the many, many rooms I was not able to spend enough time in to provide detailed descriptions from the extreme high fidelity point of view. Next year it looks like I am going to be able to schedule things so that we can do a much better job.

[I do remember liking your colored lighting - expect to see similar approaches in other rooms at shows in the future :-)]

Thanks for caring,
Mike.
