I thought your Galena speakers were superb. Very well balanced sound - a speaker that really does justice to the music at a very reasonable price and in a gorgeous package. I like your voicing - a little bit on the warmish side, which is what I shoot for also. You did an outstanding job (once again) of combining smoothness and naturalness with very satisfying extension at both ends of the spectrum. And although your efficiency is modest, I didn't hear the usual compressed dynamics that characterizes most medium-efficiency speakers. So you must be using excellent drivers well matched to one another and obviously not skimping on the crossover components. I can think of several Stereophile Class A speakers at far higher prices that imho do not sound nearly as lifelike and enjoyable nor look nearly as beautiful.
I'm just glad that what I'm doing is different enough that we're not direct competitors!
