What VMPS speakers will match?

Both bypass caps are polypropylene, we have never used mica.

The RM2 is the modern version of what you have now.

finally, the caps on my  speakers arre axon bypassed by those mica brown types and a blue one. There are no upggrades for these what would you recommend if anything.

I've also considered cap upgrades for my Tower II SE's, so I'm very interested in the answer to this question. I've used Sonicaps in the past and had great results.

Where is the crossover located inside the cabinet? Are the values printed on the existing caps?

prsalsa -- also consider a wire upgrade.

Hi Fred, and welcome to the VMPS Circle.

I think B, suggests a good solution, and the RM2, is a speaker that can "blend" with the Tower II's very well.

Another used pair of Tower II's might be hard to find, since those who have them tend to keep them.

The RM2 is of a similiar size, and performance.

You could use the RM2's for the fronts, and the T2's for the second pair.
