Crowded House live at Ryman Auditorium

I  saw the reunited Crowded House Tuesday night at the Ryman in Nashville. Fantastic show. Their vocals have never been better, and they  rock much harder live than on the recordings.  I saw the Crowdies right before they broke up and their first reunion show at Cochella, Neil solo twice, and twice w/ Tim and this was by far the best yet. If they come to your town, be sure to go.

The opening act was Pete Yorn, and he was worth the price of admission alone. Great band, amazing bass player and lead guitarist. The guitarist came back out w/ CH to play slide on "Kare Kare" which they said they rarely play live. Might have been the highlight of the night as it's an amazing song.

Neil's son Liam played before Pete and he did some cool looping stuff on the guitar. Not the best singer in the world, but some really interesting musical ideas. Plus he's a pretty funny guy, joking around w/ the audience just like dad.
