I am very reluctantly putting these assembled parts and transformers up for sale, but personal circumstances leave me no choice.
This is all based on the ST-35 revision D PC board made by diytube.com, which itself is a very nicely laid out, substantial, and high quality board. Features include:
* new gain/driver section with 1 12ax7 and 1 12au7 per channel.
* individual bias adjustment and test points for each output tube.
* Can be built either SS or tube rectified
Comes with full printed assembly, checkout, and operating manual.
Other assorted parts include:
* 8 9-pin Azuma high-quality PC mount tube sockets.
* 1 Azuma octal chassis mount tube socket for optional 5AR4 rectifier
* 4 100uF 450v high quality Panasonic filter caps
* 1 Welborne Labs HV regulator kit (will supply 360 - 365 volts with tube rectification and supplied power transformer.)
* 2 Magnequest M565 output transformers (see notes below)
* one custom Electraprint Power transformer (see notes below).
Obviously this is not a project for a novice so if you think you're going to get a Heathkit kind of kit, don't buy this!

About the transformers:
My philosophy is that quality of iron makes or breaks a well designed amp so I went to a lot of trouble to come up with these.
The output transformers are Magnequest -- need I say any more? -- these are a very rare pair made with M3 laminations and solid brass bells (non-magnetic). These are the best built transformers I've ever seen. Period. These were built exactly to the original design (Magnequest owns the original drawings for these) but with more modern insulation materials. What else can I say except that you simply will not find a better OPT for a Dyna ST-35.
The power transformer was custom built for me by Jack Elliano to my requirements (and while intended for use with a tube rectified amp, will be fine for SS as well. Laminations are M-19 for cooler operation. This is one big chunk of iron measuring approximately 4" on a side and weighing 9 pounds. Windings are as follows:
Primary: 120 VAC 60 Hz.
Secondaries:
305-0-305 v @ 200 mA
5 v @ 2 A.
6.3v @ 6 A.
Another extremely nice piece of iron that is unlikely to be equaled on any other Dyna ST-35.
Total of all this cost me a little more than $600 and since everything is brand new I would like to get $475 for the collection. I'll pay shipping in lower 48, but please add 3% for paypal. If you meet my price I'll throw in a brand new matched quad of cryo'ed JJ/Tesla EL84s for free. Can only sell as a set.
If you have the skill to pull it all together these parts will give you one hell of an ST-35 which you can give to your grandchildren, or maybe great grandchildren. No compromises here at all.
Thanks for looking,
Jim
