I'll be there for sure unless I get run over by a streetcar or something.  I've heard great things about the Artemis Labs gear and can't wait for a chance to hear it in person.  I also have a digital camera now so I can take cool pictures.

Hi John:
I hope to make it on the 24th, unless I get run over by a steam roller (no streetcars near me, but they're paving the driveway at work :)). As you know I have a soft spot for the EAR Acute CD player. I'd love to hear it in your store. It was great fun sharing impressions with the other club members during your last open house.

Bill.

Hi John,

I would like to come on Wednesday as well, probably a little later around 8pm, if there is still space.

it looks like you might have a full house :).

Anything we can bring along?

From the AP:

Police arrested Cole on April 4 in his truck as he was leaving Heritage Oak Park in this Cincinnati suburb after parents complained about a man dressed in women's clothing.

Police said they found an open, half-empty bottle of beer in the truck, along with a gym bag containing wigs, bikinis, silver go-go boots and other women's garments.

Cole's blood-alcohol test registered 0.17, more than twice Ohio's legal driving limit of 0.08, police said.

The arrest report said Cole told an officer he was on his way to a bar in Dayton to perform as a woman in a contest offering a $10,000 prize.

Audio Aero's latest design fix for their CD player was the best laugh I've had in a while.

Yes...and to clarify before all AA Prima CD owners start calling us...   :o

The "fix" consisted of a pair of high-powered, compact binoculars so that the listener could get a better view of the display section on the unit....

Actually, the joke came off very well.....

Cheers,

John,

thanks for a nice evening yesterday - it's always a pleasure to stop by your place and listen to some very well set-up turntables and systems. Are you sure you don't want to pass on that old outdated Garrard 401 turntable as you have so many newer turntables around? of course i'll take that long outdated SPU cartridge along as well. I wish Loricraft would bring the costs of new idler wheels down to the sub $5k level for the 501. Oh well...

Cheers,

Rene

John,
Thanks so much for hosting a great evening last night.  As we all mentioned your store is a gem in the city of Toronto.  A 2 channel, analog loving sanctuary.  It was great meeting the guys again and I came away with some new ideas for the future and encouragement for TAAS.
We are going to get this going again.
Too bad all the guys left, except me, when you finally pulled out the shrimp and lobster.  But, hey, it was more food for us to gobble!!!  Best seafood I have ever had.  (OK, just kidding guys!)
