So far all the info I've encountered regarding the Stello DA220 MK2 indicate it's not capable of ASIO. Today, I found some information on configuring Foobar2K, ASIO and ASIO4ALL. I gave it a whirl and disabled WinXP from using/controlling the Stello as a sound device - KMixer was no longer accessible.
After some configuring, I was able to get Foobar up and running and played back a track. Lo and behold, music came out of the DAC. This was a quick test and I didn't have the chance to listen critically but what I did hear was certainly acceptable.
Now I have two questions:
1) Is KMixer truly bypassed and audio data is routed through ASIO?
2) Can I assume I'm getting a bit-perfect feed out to the DAC with this setup?
