He bought this directly from Perpetual Technologies when they offered the Modwright versions on their web site. Still a current model, and still a nice DAC even compared with the newer competition, but I have a chance of some other gear. Cosmetically very good, with only very small blemishes on the top and bottom edges of the front panel. I have original boxes for both, and the metal feet for vertical placement (never used), but can’t find the manual at the moment (it is available as a pdf on line at AV123.com). I will include a nice Monster Cable coax cable.

This thing sounds awesome...very smooth and detail and great bass.
