Shamless plug (non-audio)

MAACers,

Hope you don't mind a shameless plug here...(and a repeat of one I did on the SoCal group last year!)

Asides from music and audio, one of my great passions is movies.  A couple of years ago, I became involved in an independent feature film project as Executive Producer.  Our film, UNDOING, will be making its Washington DC-area premiere at the DC APA Film Festival this month.  Please come and see the film!

Info and tickets available here:
http://www.apafilm.org/2007/program_details.php?id=6

I'll be attending the premiere screening on Saturday, September 29, so if you do come, please find me and say hi!  I'm not sure if they'll have me doing a Q+A after the screening, but if they do, I'll be easy to spot...!

More info about the film:

And just to keep this slightly audio-related, the soundtrack is available here (with samples available):

Phil,

I may take up on your offer to come see you if I can find a sitter.  I don't think that one is G rated.

Congrat Phil!

The schedule on that day is quite hectic, however if possible, I would love to go and support fellow Asian American.  Is it easy to find parking there?

Woodsyi, since I need to attend a potluck at Tyson's Corner afterward around 5:30pm, do you know of any good place nearby where I can pick up a (tasty) Peking duck? :) Thanks.

Howard,

Peking Gourmet Inn http://www.pekinggourmet.com/ does the best Peking duck in the greater DC area.  This is the place where the elder Bush used to frequent for his duck needs.  Since it's between Bailey's Crossroad and 7 Corners, it's not that far from Rosslyn.  You take Wilson Blvd to 7 Corners and go down route 7 toward Alexandria and it's on your right.  Then you can just shoot right back up the other way on route 7 all the way to Tyson's Corner.

Howard...that would be great if you could come!  And bring your friends...! :D

I've never been to the Rosslyn theater, so I don't know about the parking situation there.

Thanks topround!

Btw - I wanted to plug another film at the festival.  Its called FINISHING THE GAME, and it's opening the festival tonight.  If you can go, GO!  The movie is very funny...director and two of the stars will be in attendence for a Q+A session afterwards...

Phil-Do you know whether the tickets can be bought at the box office or can they be ordered online only?   Due to unexpected circumstances, the attendance will be depending on my friend's work progress on Sat morning.   I would love to go if we can make it.

Wish you the best and great time on the movie premier.

Woodsyi-thanks for the tip.  If it is that good, I gotta check it out.

You should be able to get tickets at the box office, unless it happens to sold out... :D

Sorry Phil,

I got roped into going down to Charlottesville for a football game and could not make it to your premier.    I will try to catch the next one if you keep doing this.
