Anybody read this yet? I would love to check it out, but nobody carries this magazine where I live. I'm curious of what they did and the results.

Could you please send me a copy of the test also?  I purchased a Technics SL-1200 MK II off of Audiogon several months ago with the Origin Live mounting board for Rega, OL, and the like.  I have a totally stock RB-250 arm which I removed from my VPI HW 19 III, and have decided to use it on the Technics.  Have replaced the stock counterweight with Pete Riggle's CCM (Counterweight for the Common Man), which includes a new stainless steel arm stud and brass/bronze counterweight.  Installed my AT 440ML/OCC cartridge, and am waiting for a Rega finger nut (VPI TT has VPI's excellent height adjustable SS rega mount).  Will be using washers to adjust the RB-250 arm height, on the Technics, at least for now.  Have the stock rubber platter mat, so will start with this set-up, and make changes as I go along based on some of the recommendations in AC postings.
