Odyssey Stratos Amp Gain Newbie Question

Guys,

What is the gain of the Stratos amp? (in db) Thanks!

Here's an info from mgalusha when I post a rather similar question before.

"Some time back I measured the gain of a stereo Stratos and it has a voltage gain of 33.75 (30.6dB). The stereo model is rated at 150W. Using this amount of gain I calculated that 1.04 volts were need to reach 153W.

While the mono's are probably a bit different I suspect this would be fairly close for them as well. Once my pair of Klaus' new reference amps arrive I can say for sure.

You probably won't have any trouble driving your mono's to full power with your existing preamp.

Yeah, Mike did a great job with the measurements. I haven't measured the actual dB gain of the Stratos yet, but based on Rolf's information for the RG 11, it has to be in the high 90's, which is outstanding.
