It is available, though not easily, through "Artbridge Cafe" in Yerevan (!) which is as good as saying "no". Additionally, this is in the PAL format, which many DVD players will not play, although ironically many of the cheapest ones do.
There is an American bootleg made from a converted copy which is being sold for around $20 in the NTSC format, but it is illegal, as no royalties have been paid.
I am in the process of trying to convince the conductor and all involved of the importance of making these things more easily available, for example there should be a link to Artbridge on the orchestra site, not just a mention, especially since this seems to be the only retail outlet for the orchestra's discs.
The conductor has a friend in Armenia who is computer savvy enough to make Armenia the first country in the world to issue visas over the internet. I am getting him to contact him to set up online sales from the orchestra's website.
