Refurbished cans, a good idea?

Hey guys, I'm finding refurbished hd 555s and hd 595s for $20-30 under new price.  Is this a good idea or is it risky?

I've never bought refurbs, but I've bought multiple pairs of used cans.  I can't see refurb being any worse than straight up used, however buying used gets better discounts.
