With the announcement that Adire is closing it's doors how does that affect the current RAW designs that use the Extremis woofer?

Nothing will be effected for some time to come.
We have a large supply of the Extremis 6.8 not to worry about that. The same applies for the WR125S and the WR125ST drivers.

Now the Extremis drivers were never built by Adire only designed by Adire and then a selected build house built the drivers.
Creative Sound has been the supplier for the Extremis for a few years. Adire never had any in stock of the Extremis only CSS.

With the fact that Adire is closed this does not stop the supply of any driver which has been built with XBL^2 motor but rather only new drivers people would like to get developed with a XBL^2 motor.

Adire closing also does not stop the development of any new XBL^2 drivers as well.AS a fact the new SDX15 has a XBL^2 motor and the new SDX12 (coming) uses a XBL^2 motor as well.

Our RA165.8 plus RA165.16 drivers which have XBL^2 motors will not be effected as these drivers also are not built by Adire but are built in the US.

Over all drivers with XBL^2 motors will have no effect on supply , as long as the oem continues to have that driver built. If that OEM stops getting a driver or drivers made with XBL^2 motors that is there decision to do so.

We are working with CSS for a new driver which will have a XBL^2 motor as well.(up date this driver has had 6 samples built so far to date and will be a few months away)
