You are bidding on a quad of GE 5 STAR 5670 tubes. These tubes have black plates and D getters.
The 5670 (aka 2C51, 396A) is a medium-mu twin triode. It was introduced in 1948 as the high-reliability computer rated 2C51. Used in collins radios also used in various military and ham transmitters. More recently this tube has gained a following as a driver tube in HI-end audio preamplifier headphone amplifier and to drive triode tubes in single ended tube amplifiers. KT-88 KT-66 6B4G.
The 5670 is a driver tube for the Bendix 6094, as well as many SET, 6BQ5 / EL84 and other single ended triode amplifiers. Most american tubes have either the 5670 or the 2C51 label, while the Western Electric and some European tubes have a 396A designation.
