HT??? What's that?

While I like HT, I seem to always enjoy my adventures in 2 channel SONIC THEATER more.

That said a turn of events recently has "boosted" my HT to a great degree :thumb:

First, a Screen Company "gave" me a screen, which I promptly sold (too small) for enough$$ to be parlayed into a 120" beauty.

Then I took a pair of BCSE RM40's in on trade toward some RM v60's and this freed my RM30M's to join another RM30M as LCR in my HT.

B-U-T..... :duh: Along with those RM40's came a BCSE LRC....Hmmmmm what to do?

So I stacked it on top of the exisiting RM30M Center and run "BOTH" for the Center.

All this with 4 LARGER Subs and some decent surrounds, which are also quite unique.

They consist of a pair of monopoles with a pair of dipoles stacked on top of them.

Gives both directional and diffuse surround fields seperately or together. (simply by plugging or unplugging the bananas.

Currently the processing duties are perfromed by a SHerwood NewCastle R-865 which is the same processor as the P965 but with less digital inputs.

This is until I can get the NuFORCE AVP16. aa

So plain and simple Movies are now a blast and while the 2 channel is cetainly my passion, the HT has grown a bit and gets lots of exercise on Saturday Nites.

This weekend we are having a Dirty Harry  :guns:    :flak: Triple Feature (courtesy of a COSTCO special)

Hi Early,

I'll see if I can get a shot or two, but my room and surroundings are not "ALL THAT".

(or else I would have helped PhilNYC out a few weeks ago)

But I have to say the sonic structure of the LRC is quite impressive (4 Neopanels - 2 FST tweets, and 4 6.5" megawoofers)

Where's my digital camera? 8)

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the NuFORCE AVP16 when you get it.
