How does this affect the future prospects for the nuforce monoblock amplifiers? Was he the man with the original design ideas?
Why?

I thought that was a very old news! Tranh has left NuForce since June 2006.
As we explained last year, a company grows and evolves, so does its employees. Nobody stays in one place forever.
A well managed technology company will continue to identify new talent, new products and strategic market to expand.  There was some concern about Nuforce a year ago when a key person left but V2 demonstrated that we are now moving at an even faster pace. V2 technology was redesigned by our new CTO after Tranh left.
Many of you might not know that the initial IP was developed in 2003.  We introduced our first product in 2005. We're moving into the 2nd phase of our company's business plan in 2007, which is to broaden the scope of our technology and products.
The success of a company is a team effort.  A successful company develops a sustainable culture that promote and retain talent, encourages innovation and builds long lasting brand that customers trust.

There is no guarrantee that Casey (our super talented VP of Engineering and audiophile who contributed to SE's design and making all our products sounded good) or I will be with Nuforce forever.  But our job is not done yet.  My goal is to see through that we build a sustainable company and worldwide recognizable brand (we're far from it).  Yeah, may be when we're as big as Bose, I will say that my job is done

According to 6moons, "May 07: Tranh Nguyen, former chief designer for NuForce, now works under the 1st Quadrant Technology Inc. banner and is about to release "my latest Class-D amplifier design which boasts 100 times lower distortion at 20kHz than my previous design of the Reference 9."

OK, so where does that leave you?  If you can't retain talent (your words) at this level can you be successful?

I have commented on this topic more than enough.

V2 was developed after our original engineer left the company. We have demonstrated that V2 clearly outperforms V1. A tech company's success lies in its ability to recruit new talent and surpass its previous accomplishment. It is typical that an engineer stay for 3 to 4 years in high tech company and they move on to other interest.
For long term prosperity, a company has to develop a stable structure, culture and philosophy, constantly innovate and recruit NEW talent.  Every year in a tech world is like dog year to man year  :lol

There is no need to continue this topic because going any further will degenerate into negative comment.
