Outstanding IMO... Saw it last night and I'm still laughing. Between this and "Shaun of the dead" I'm thinking these guys are going to make a great career out of spoofing American films. So many moments of comedic brilliance and the last half hour of the movie is just insanely funny.

I saw it over the weekend too, and I liked it a lot more than Shaun of the Dead (which I thought was pretty good). It's long and sort of drags in the middle, but picks up in a big way toward the end. I think you're right, these guys have a great career ahead of them if they keep doing movies like this and I hope they will.

I loved the first half or so of Shaun of Dead.  After that, I thought the movie ended on a down note.  Is Hot Fuzz the same way?

I didn't care for Shaun of the Dead, but I liked Hot Fuzz!  I, too, thought it ran a little long for a comedy, and it got overly serious in the middle, but it's a very funny flick nonetheless.  I thought Timothy Dalton's performance was great, and so was a little dose of Agatha Christie in the plot.

I also did not care for Shaun of the Dead...but absolutely loved Hot Fuzz.
Catch it in a DLP theater if you can.
