It will give you high rez Toslink output (192KHz) from a HDMI dvda/sacd/dvd player.

I am one click away from bying it, but I want to be sure it does work...

Will this actually extract Hi-rez PCM'ed SACD output from a HDMI universal player and convert it to S/PDIF?  That would be cool, at least until Sony finds out...

they answered:
Whenever I say "can" I mean "will".

You can/will get 2 channel 192khz.
